Coming Home Tuesday Morning at 9:45am-11am EST Tomorrow ~ Receiving the Real Medicine
Hello Friends,
Greetings from the beautiful town of Accord in the Hudson Valley. I am on the other side of that mighty river this week while my daughter attends a rock climbing camp. Because I have to drop her off at 9am tomorrow, we’ll start the meditation a bit later at 9:45. The session will end at 11am. Please join!
Tonight I went for a walk and made an offering. I was trying to tune in to the particular resonance here. It’s so magical, peaceful. I could feel the fairies and almost expected to see them in the orange light of sunset. My dear friend, Rochelle, told me yesterday that according to the tradition she studies (with the Q’ero people of Peru) today is the most auspicious day of the year to make an offering to Pachamama. So, I did. And if you’re reading this now, you still have time! Offer her something, anything…a tear, a stone, a leaf, a flower, a candle burning bright. Offer her your love. Here is what emerged from my wanderings:
It kind of looks like a wood sprite, doesn’t it? Or a dryad, tree spirit. I sat with it a while and felt open to receive the medicine. It stared me down and filled me with patience. And that’s what I’d love for us to do tomorrow…open to receive the blessings that are all around and available to us in this time. This is the real medicine. I have a plan. Come and let’s heal.
