SACRED HEART WOMEN’S RETREAT
October 5-8, 2023
Hudson Valley, New York

Dear Friends,

It’s time to gather. I’m ready to receive a group here in the Hudson Valley for three days of deep communion with the land, ourselves, and each other. The dates are Thursday, October 5-Sunday, October 8. This retreat will be for women and female-identifying people. In the spring, I will offer coed/mixed retreats.

We will create an alchemical container for transformation, insight, and inspiration related to LOVE, specifically the Mysteries of the Heart, the Sacred Heart, the Heart Chakra. Exactly what we do will be dependent on who comes and how our individual intentions weave into an intention for the whole. So, I am reluctant to say too much about content and process here. What I can share is where I am right now and what I’d like to offer.

The Sacred Heart Retreat Intention Statement:

To come together as women and invite a direct experience of the True Power of Love in all its forms. We will learn from the great traditions, from the land, from our inner well of knowing. We will enter subtle states together that foster deep connection. We will remember ourselves, and heal/become whole through the wisdom of the Sacred Heart. We will leave with an expanded capacity for Love; a better sense of ourselves and our unique service in the world at this time.

There are spots for seven on-site participants and three commuters (people who live in the Hudson Valley or have a place to sleep off-site). Four spots are already accounted for, so if this is of interest to you, reach out to me asap.

I will facilitate a process of guided meditation, gentle yoga, group dialogue, tantric teachings, mandala-making and possibly dance (guest facilitator tbd). We will explore the subtle body, Eros/Shakti, trauma healing, prophesy/listening to the unseen and Natural world, and deep inner transformation. We will be there for and with each other. We will lift each other up. We will live as love.

Identifying Patterns of Fear
Detoxing the Internalized Patriarchy
The Feminine Wisdom We Need Now
Reclaiming Paradise (evolving beyond “the fall”)
Service as Love

The retreat will run from 4pm on Thursday to 11am Sunday. Room options include solo queen rooms and twin/shared rooms. All meals provided. Easy travel from NYC—the Amtrak to Hudson and we can arrange a pick up at the station or drive (Germantown, NY). Prices range from $900-$1300 for 3 nights depending on accommodation choice. Commuter fee is $500.

We are back on track for our weekly group meditation tomorrow at noon eastern. Please join! We gather, surface what’s present and weave together a meditation real-time to include and receive more of life’s wisdom. It’s an interactive and emergent experience of deep, collective presence and healing.

This drop-in meditation is a pay-what-you-feel experience. Suggested donation is $10-20 for drop ins. Whatever you feel called to give is wonderful and appreciated.
