Upcoming Events
Dear Friends,
Sending out a quick note tonight to let you know about some fun and exciting events and gatherings. You’re all invited.
First up, I will be a guest presenter on Alexander Beiner’s new media platform,
this Wednesday, February 5 ay 2pm EST. I’ve loved Ali’s work since those heady Rebel Wisdom days. We had some fun back then offering embodiment experiences and courses. This week, Ali and I will talk about living life as an artful offering. Here’s what we’ll cover:LIFE AS ART
How we can approach this time of transition and uncertainty (which feels ofttimes like apocalypse, crisis, chaos) with an attitude of empowered creativity, as alchemical artists—clear about our role in the co-creation of Reality. This is an ancient view that can serve us right now. It requires us to reclaim (and cleanse and elevate) our imaginations, develop a healthy and robust relationship with the elements and unseen forces that make and shape reality along with us, open and live from our hearts so that what we are creating is coming from Love not fear, fully embrace a dedication to service that is way beyond individual ego and arises from a direct recognition of our interdependence (rising of Buddhism, Christianity, and psychedelics are all pointing to this), reassess our relationship to money, practice building coherence while living and creating in community, and open ourselves to a truly cosmic vantage point that situates earth within a vast web of life and intelligence beyond our comprehension…all of which would help us answer this pressing question: what does it mean to be human?
Here is Ali’s event announcement.
A Successful Debut for the Art of Transmutation! Next One is Sunday, February 16th (12-1:30pm EST)
Yesterday,
and I hosted our first Art of Transmutation. This is a virtual space to connect with Spirit; enjoy and support each other as we reclaim our imagination and inspiration; and expand our capacity for becoming alchemical artists and world creators. You can read more about the original inspiration here. For our first session, we talked about some of the principles of the Art of Transmutation and we featured Ari’s Transmutation AI shorts as our content. Then, as a hands-on practice, we left our computers for 15 minutes and each participant went outside to make a mandala/nature offering. It was amazing to see what we could achieve in just 15-20 minutes. Each person shared a little about their inspiration and experience, too. It was a beautiful way to play and loosen up our creative flow as a community.
We want to offer a huge thank you to all who signed up and all who attended. We hope you’ll come back. Many folks have asked me if we recorded the first session and I am sorry to say we didn’t. I forgot and we jumped right in. But, please mark your calendar for the next one. We’ll announce the featured artist in advance.

Coming Home Meditation Tomorrow at Noon EST
Almost every Tuesday at noon, I hold an hour-long space for group meditation and journeying inward. I’ve been holding these meditations since the start of the pandemic in 2020. They are about grounding, settling into the body, connecting with our hearts and spirits, and taking in the medicine the world is offering us.
We start with a 30-minute group share where we offer up what is arising and alive in our fields. Then I weave our collective experience into a deeply healing and illuminating meditative journey. It’s a sweet group of people—very open, very supportive, and encouraging. It’s accessible to all “levels” of meditation experience from beginners to advanced practitioners. You will definitely leave feeling more whole. No pre-registration is necessary. You can just show up.
This is a pay-what-you-feel experience each week. Suggested donation is $10-20 for drop ins. Whatever you feel called to give is wonderful and appreciated. Contributions can be made here: Paypal: schuyler@artofemergence.com or Venmo: ElizabethSchuyler-Brown. Paid subscribers, you are already covered. Thank you.
