Happy Friday! I hope you’re enjoying this late summer afternoon. On the other side of writing of this post, I am treating myself to a swim in a local lake. So, off we go!

I want to say a few words to introduce this piece of content. It’s a bit beyond-the-usual for me, and I think an orientation will serve you as the listener by priming you to receive more from it.

First off, I want to say how much I enjoyed this conversation. Richard Lawrence is a treasure—a gifted psychic medium and channel and so much more. Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Richard and his work personally. Conversations with Richard have illuminated and resolved some of my own psychic and channeling experience in ways that have moved my work forward.

He is absolutely grounded and stresses that everyone has access to these gifts—psychic abilities and intuition. In fact, he’s written several practical books about it: Unlock Your Psychic Powers and Gods, Guides, & Guardian Angels, which I read and thoroughly enjoyed. Richard stresses the need to develop discernment in the use of these powers and and their essential application towards SERVICE in the world. I couldn’t agree with this view more. When I think of Richard I think of integrity, precision, and care.

What Richard and I share in this conversation—inspired by the lovely and open-minded Jack Stafford, host of the Mysticast Podcast—is some theory, some experience, some practices, and an inquiry into the way the Buddhist Tantra (Vajrayana) and the metaphysics of the Aetherius Society, where Richard is an international director and bishop, align. From their website:

I have spent the past year, exploring the teachings of the Aetherius Society—really just scratching the surface of a vast body of material channeled by the late Dr. George King, master of yoga. It’s been enlightening and fun to stretch the boundaries of my worldview in this way—to invite a cosmic perspective. What I’ve found is that the teachings are compatible with the Vajrayana lineage I call home and even enhance them. This was a surprise to me.

If this is a topic that interests you, my invitation is to listen with the whole body and higher mind. There is MUCH that is conveyed in the form of energetic transmission that could be missed if you just listen at the surface with the cognitive faculties alone. The conversation worked on me for days afterwards and opened up doors of perception that had been closed. Several days afterwards, I even brought through the Rise poem I shared here. That poem felt directly connected to the essence of what Richard and I are trying to inspire through our discussion. My hope is that you will also receive the subtle gifts in this exchange.
