Fierce Love Needs You

Radical transparency around money and love ❤️

Dear Friends,

Ten days ago, I announced a new course for the winter months called Fierce Love. I felt called to offer it by Spirit and as soon as I did, I felt inspired to create the content. Ideas for prayers and practices flooded in. I began to feel a powerful field of fierce love surrounding the gathering cohort. Within the first 48 hours, three blessed people had signed up, one generous patron offered a scholarship, and I felt like we were off to a great start.

When I wrote the initial announcement for the course, I included a caveat. Here it is:

NOTE: For me to turn my inspiration and life force towards this, I need for it to be financially nourishing. I will need a minimum of 15 people to sign up at the course fee of $240 to make this something that actually supports my household. If you want it to happen, encourage friends to join!

The course is scheduled to start on Sunday (November 3, this Sunday) and 8 people have registered. That’s about half the number of people I need to make this financially feasible. So, if I am going to honor the safety net I put in place for myself—the honest expression of what it takes for me to do this work—then I am going to have to call off the course or postpone it.

I really don’t want to do that. I want to meet the expression of desire and the commitment made by the good people who have signed up! I want to share these heart teachings and this field of the Sacred Heart with as many people as possible! I want to be in a loving community through this election portal and through the dark winter months! I want to honor the Spirit that comes through me when I do this work and the blessings it holds for individuals and the collective!

Simply put…there is a gap between what I need to do this work and what I currently have coming in. Let’s do math…

What I hoped to receive for this offering:

$240 x 15 = $3,600

What I am currently receiving if no one else signs up before Sunday:

$240 x 8 = $1,920

Maybe this gap of $1,680 doesn’t seem like a lot, but it actually does make a difference to me. There’s also the principle of the thing. Too often, people who are offering genuine teachings, healings, and creations from their heart, sacred work, take the financial burden on themselves. There’s a lot to say about why this is. Maybe you are one of these people, and you know what I mean.

In the past, I would have sucked it up. But, I would have felt it down the road. At some point, many classes in, when I am putting everything I have into the offering, but I’m not able to make a basic purchase or pay a bill, I will wonder what I was thinking. I can’t ask you to value what I’m offering if I don’t value it myself.

So, that leaves me with some options. I’m sharing them in the name of transparency and also curiosity. I wonder if we can learn something together here about the power of FIERCE LOVE and COMMUNITY and MONEY. That’s what the course is all about after all! So, here are my ideas. • I’m sure there are 7 more people out there who would like to take the course! If you’ve been thinking about it or have been on the fence and you need a nudge, here it is. Please register ASAP (below). And please forward the course description to anyone you think might enjoy it.

• There are probably folks out there who can’t take the course or don’t feel called to it, but would be willing to contribute funds so others can receive! That would be an expression of unconditional love and generosity. It would fill our hearts. Can you do that? If so, please reach out and let me know what you feel good offering. Your funds could also make it possible for someone who can’t afford it to attend.

• I could postpone the course until we have enough people. Maybe that will be another week. I’d hate to push it out too far. The world needs more people in the frequency of love now.

• I could cancel the course, refunding all current registrants. This would be a sign to me that’s time to turn my life force energy towards another expression of this work—maybe one that is better suited to the needs of this community or these times. I am open to that, too.

If you are still reading and with me, thank you. I’ve been in a practice of radical transparency around money in the last year. It’s a vulnerable way to be in a world that prefers to obfuscate, hide, and hoard this energy of exchange and creation. But, it’s also the key to unlock choice and empower us to move money towards the sacred and the world we want to see…for me, a world lived in and from the HEART. Yes, money is an expression of love when it is given freely in that spirit towards Spirit.
