Monday, February 5, 8-9pm EST: All Is Forgiven Gathering (Virtual)
My friend, Diane, gave me the brilliant idea today to hold space for folks who read and felt something important in the poem I posted last week called All Is Forgiven.
The poem came out of this deep wintering process I’ve been in; a deep shedding of layers of the past, old stories, attachments. It’s been interwoven with the initiation of menopause, maybe even catalyzed by the insistence that biological threshold has on LETTING GO. I heard from many people that it hit them hard—that they’ve been working towards forgiveness in their own lives and the words helped them.
In order to make the medicine the poem holds even more potent, I’d like to offer space for us to gather on Monday evening from 8-9pm EST to read from the poem, engage in a forgiveness meditation I will design especially for the event, and share stories of forgiveness unfolding or not-yet-unfolding in our lives. I invite you to come to share or simply witness and bathe in the possibility of freedom true forgiveness offers.
Here is an audio recording of the poem read by me:
And here is where you can RSVP. This is a donation-based event and open to all.
See you around!
