AI is soulless. cold. the images are not generated from direct dynamic in the moment human imagination, but stored data, inputs. i wish people would stop promoting AI as some kind of new paint kit clay shaping tool. some kind of savior for the creative mind. tech changes the brain..
We are not promoting AI just using it as a tool to visualize a very human poem. I used Runway Gen3 which is a new model, ethically trained and ran by artists. While I love filming, it would have been impossible financially and logistically to shoot this. It’s an experiment not an endorsement but I share your concern
i appreciate your response. i find this moment in my lifetime utterly terrifying. feels like we're all in a speeding car with no visible driver. we're all being told how awful the world is. how destroyed and hopeless the world is UNLESS we all adopt this tech thing and that tech thing. that these choices are our ONLY hope for a better world. it all feels so aggro and grabby. bullying really. as if there is absolutely NO TIME to slow down long enough to explore solutions coming from reasoned minds who reject tech as the answer to the worlds manufactured problems. why does all this new stuff require the decimation of the middle class? or the degradation of the working class? or total destruction of our financial systems? the wealthy class trying to purchase their way out of this total nightmare, buying new goods made of illegally mined minerals involving the use of asian and african labor. the destruction of whole waters, forests and husbanded animals. inventions of toxic lab made food. what it all amounts to,in my humble opinion, is wild eyed slobbering madness. the only solutions continuously advertised to the entire globe is this new LIFE via AI. i find the images grey bloodless and synthetic. i pray more people see what they really see and respond with heart and soul. ONLY REAL LIFE has the power to heal us. not some manufactured all knowing non local thing, posturing like the god they made, for the next two thousand years.

That’s what the poem is about
absolutely. and the poem stands on it's own. yes.
Thank you. I appreciate your passion, your view and share it. I also enjoyed reading your exchange here with Ari. I feel a lot of care in it.
